We are looking for an experienced Operations Head to lead and manage visa and immigration operations across multiple countries. The role involves overseeing case processing, ensuring compliance and quality standards, improving operational workflows, managing teams, and coordinating with clients and internal departments. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of immigration processes (especially US L-1 and investor visas), and 8–12+ years of experience in immigration or visa operations.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the operations team (managers/executives) handling visa case processing across all supported countries. Foster a collaborative environment and provide training/mentoring.
- Visa Case Management: Oversee end-to-end handling of client cases: documentation review, petition preparation (e.g. US L-1 petitions), submission, and follow-ups. Ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all operations comply with immigration regulations and company policies. Maintain high approval rates by instituting quality checks and rigorous documentation standards.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current workflows and identify bottlenecks. Design and implement process improvements (e.g. digital tools, standardized checklists) to increase efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a senior point of contact for key clients and internal stakeholders. Communicate case status updates, address escalations, and ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination (sales, legal, finance, etc.).
- Reporting & Metrics: Develop and track key metrics (e.g. processing times, approval rates, client satisfaction scores, team productivity). Report performance to senior management and recommend corrective actions.
- Budget & Resource Planning: Plan resource allocation (e.g. staffing, training) and manage the operations budget to meet service delivery targets.
- Policy Input: Contribute to company policy and strategy discussions regarding expansion of visa services (new countries or visa programs) and compliance updates.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Any graduate; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Immigration Consultant/Attorney) are highly desirable.
- Experience: 8–12+ years in immigration/visa operations, ideally including experience with US L-1 visas and business/investment migration programs. Prior team leadership (5+ direct reports) and project management experience required.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of immigration regulations: US (L-1A/L-1B), Australia (innovation/investor visas), New Zealand (business/investor visas), UAE (Golden Visa) etc., and processes (petition filing, consular processing, etc.).
